A very unusual English solid sterling silver novelty box. It is hallmarked for London 2024 with the makers marks being DP. It has been superbly designed being cast in the form of a nut possibly a pecan or walnut. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded, the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (3.6cm) by 1.25 inches wide and weighs 24 grams. A super fun piece.
