A super quality boxed English solid sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1974 with the maker being S J Rose & Son. It has been superbly designed being cast with a foxes head. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It comes with a box - not the original but it fits well. It measures approx. 6.25 inches (15.8cm) long by over 0.5 inch (1.5cm) wide and weighs 26 grams excluding the box. A very nicely designed example.
