A rare Victorian antique solid sterling silver fork. It is hallmarked for London 1851 with the maker being Chawner & Co (George William Adams). It has been superb designed and has been engraved with the crest used by the Benwell family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 7 inches (17.6cm) long by over 0.75 inch (2.4cm) wide and weighs 54 grams. A super quality interesting piece.
