A superb good sized boxed English solid sterling silver and walnut wood box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1977 with the maker being Halcyon Days Ltd. It has been superbly designed to mark the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth and is a limited edition being number 62 of 500. It has been superbly made from walnut from the Royal Estate at Sandringham and a hand-coloured lithograph of the Coronation Ceremony. It is in outstanding condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It comes boxed again in superb condition. It measures over 3.5 inches (9.2cm) across by over 1.75 inches (4.8cm) tall and weighs 138 grams excluding the case. A very good quality well made piece.
