A superb Austrian antique solid silver pencil / ruler. It is hallmarked with the Austrian 900 standard mark. I would date it to c1920s. It has been superbly designed with the pencil being mechanical to operate simply twist the end, the telescope ruler is operated by gently pulling on the end. It is in super condition being free from chips cracks splits holes and repairs, it works perfectly. It measures over 5.5 inches (14.4cm) long and 9.5 inches (24cm) long fully extended and weighs 24 grams. A very nice quality piece.
