Superb English antique solid sterling silver sugar tongs. They are hallmarked for Sheffield 1917 with the maker being Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd. They have been superbly designed with the nips depicting chickens. They are in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure over 4 inches (10.6cm) long by 2 inches (5.1cm) across the nips and weigh 26 grams. Beautifully made unusual examples.
