A very well designed top quality German boxed solid sterling silver bottle stopper. It is hallmarked with the 835 silver standard mark and a makers mark. I would date it to c1920. It has a beautiful solid cast male grouse to its top. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8cms) tall, 1.25 inches wide, and weighs 20 grams excluding the box. A very nicely made piece.
