A rare William IV English antique English solid sterling silver wine decanter label. It is hallmarked for London 1836 with the maker being Thomas Edwards. It has been well designed allowing the alcohol type to be slid out and changed if needed (note this is in an age before paper bottle labels). It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2.5 inches (6.5cm) wide by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) tall excluding the chain and complete with its chain weighs 16 grams. A very nicely designed piece.
