A beautiful large German solid silver and glass wine goblet / chalice. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 925 standard mark along with a makers mark. I would ate it to c1920. It has been superbly designed having a glass bowl and stem and silver base and stem. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 8 inches (20.2cm) tall by over 3 inches (7.7cm) across the cup and over 3.5 inches (9.2cm) across the base and weighs an impressive 246 grams. A beautifully made example.
