Very high quality English Victorian antique solid sterling silver serving tongs. They are hallmarked for Sheffield 1889 with the maker being JKB. They have a stunning Japanese influenced design incorporating butterflies and have been engraved with the crest of the Bingley Family. They are highly sprung and in good working order. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 10.75 inches (27.4cm) long by 2.25 inches (5.8cm) wide and they weigh an impressive 178 grams.
