A super quality Scottish provincial sterling silver brooch. It is hallmarked for Inverness c1942-1970's being made by John Fraser who worked during this period after serving his apprenticeship with Medlock and Craik. It has been superbly cast in the form of the Loch Ness Monster - so detailed that it must have been done from a real life study?!? It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.2cms) long and weighs 30 grams. A very high quality rare piece.
