A very unusual Russian solid silver letter opener. It is hallmarked with a makers mark and the 84 silver standard mark. I would date it to c1910. It has been beautifully made having some form of horn handle and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 7.5 inches (19cm) long and weighs 34 grams. A very nicely designed example.
