A superb English solid sterling silver butter spade. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1866 with the makers mark being HW&Co. It has been superbly designed being engraved with the family crest used by the Brown Family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, light marks from being used. It measures approx. 6.5 inches (16.2cms) long by 1.75 inches (4cms) and weighs 32 grams. A beautifully made example.
