UNUSUAL GEORGIAN STERLING SILVER THACKERAY FAMILY CRESTED EGG SPOON 1806 ANTIQUE

A rare antique English solid sterling silver egg spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1806 with the maker being William Eley I & William Fearn. It has been superbly made and has been engraved with a crest similar to that used by the Thackeray family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 4.75 inches (12cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 14 grams. A very interesting example.
