A superbly detailed high quality solid sterling gilt silver wax seal or pipe tamper fob. It is hallmarked STERLING and dates to c1880 made in the USA. It has been superbly cast in the form of a horse with red gem set eyes. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 1 inch (2.3cm) long and weighs 2.2 grams. A high quality little piece.
