A super quality rare Chinese export solid silver snuff box. It is hallmarked with a Chinese character mark and the makers mark HHC. I would date it to c1860s. It has been superbly design being engraved with flowers to the lid and base with the cartouche being engraved with the name Freddy. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It closes securely. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.7cms) across by 1.5 inches (3.8cms) wide by 0.75 inch (2cms) tall and weighs 58 grams. A beautifully made high quality rare piece.
