A beautiful good sized German Hanau solid silver box. It is hallmarked with a German Hanau makers mark and tests as high grade silver, I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a shoe. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, gilded inside. The lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (11cms) long by 1.75 inches (4.8cm) tall and weighs 60 grams. A very pretty piece.
