A beautiful Danish antique solid sterling silver gilt baptism or christening spoon. It is hallmarked with the Danish Copenhagen three towers mark for 1897 along with a makers mark. It has been beautifully designed most likely a copy of a Medieval piece and completely gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 6 inches (15cm) long by 2.5 inches (6.4cm) wide and weighs 57 grams. A beautifully made piece.
