A rare English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver gilt trinket box. It is hallmarked for London 1906 with the maker being Asprey & Co Ltd. It has been beautifully designed being gilded and the lid engraved with the initials MB. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The hinge is smooth and tight, the lid tight fitting. It measures over 2 inches (5.4cm) long by 2 inches (5.1cm) wide by over 1 inch (2.7cm) tall and weighs 72 grams. A very high quality rare example.
