A superb good sized possibly American ? antique solid sterling silver tea strainer. It is hallmarked SILVER 970 and tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1940. It ha been beautifully made and is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 6.25 inches (15.8cm) long including the handle and over 3 inches (8cm) wide and weighs 44 grams. A stunning piece.
