A rare English solid sterling silver royal coronation spoon. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1936 with the makers marks being V&S. It has been made to mark the Coronation of King Edward VIII which of course never happened as he abdicated. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, the enamel is perfect.  It measures approx. 4.75 inches (12cms) long and weighs 16 grams. A very interesting piece.
