A rare Chinese solid silver bookmark or page maker. It is hallmarked with the makers mark and tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1920. It has been beautifully designed with the terminal depicting a Chinese character and engraved with bamboo leaves. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) long by over 0.5 inch (1.7cm) wide and weighs 4 grams. A nicely designed example.
