A superb quality cased mint English solid sterling silver chalice or goblet. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1977 with the maker being A T Cannon Ltd. It has been superbly designed to mark the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth and is in outstanding condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It comes with its original case albeit faded externally. It measures almost 5.25 inches (13.2cm) tall by over 2.5 inches (6.6cm) across the rim by the same across the base and weighs 152 grams excluding the case (it is not weighted). A very good quality well made piece.
