A nice quality English solid sterling silver (outer) cigar cutter. It is hallmarked STERLING SILVER along with the makers marks S Mordan along with patent details. I would date it to c1920. It has a stylish design with an internal sprung steel pricker, in full working order. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs - faint mark to the side see final photo. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) long and weighs 15 grams. A well made piece.
