A nice quality English Victorian antique solid sterling silver sauce ladle. It is hallmarked for London 1847 with the maker being Robert Wallis. It has been superbly designed and has been engraved with a crest used by the Carew family. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 7.25 inches (18.4cm) long by over 2.25 inches (5.9cm) wide and weighs 76 grams. A well made example.
