A quality English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver vesta case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1911 with the maker being Joseph Gloster Ltd. It has been superbly designed and the cartouche is free from any engravings. Note it is left handed having the hinge on the right. The inside has been internally gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.1cm) wide by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) and weighs 26 grams. A beautifully made piece.
