A rare Eastern Iraq antique solid silver niello thimble. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver and I would date it to c1920. It has been superbly designed and is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures over 0.75 inch (2.1cm) long by over 0.5 inch (1.6cm) across the base and weighs 6 grams. A rare high quality piece.
