A rare heavy English solid sterling silver limited edition bowl or porringer. It is hallmarked for London 1977 with the makers marks being those of Aurum. It has been made as a limited edition being number 253 to commemorate the silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II who was coronated at the abbey. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It is nice and clean inside. It measures 7 inches (17.8cms) across including the handle and 4.5 inches (11.6cms) excluding it by over 1.25 inches (3.5cms) tall to the rim and weighs 263 grams. A rare piece.
