A very unusual cast solid silver pen / pencil holder ? It is hallmarked 800 standard and I would date it to c1950. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a tree stump. It is in very good condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (4cm) tall by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) across by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 42 grams. A very unusual piece.
