A nice quality English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver vesta case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 with the maker being Jones & Crompton. It has been superbly designed being finely engraved and internally gilded. The cartouche has been engraved with the initials JS. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2 inches (4.9cm) tall by over 1.5 inches (4.2cm) wide and weighs 24 grams. A well made piece.
