A superb cased English solid sterling silver commemorative tray. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1972 with the maker being Historical Heirlooms Ltd. It has been superbly designed to mark the Silver wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. It is a limited edition this being number 1752 of 3500. It is in outstanding condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The odd mark to the case but nothing serious. The tray measures approx. 8 inches (20.2cm) across and weighs 302 grams excluding the case. A very good quality well made piece.
