A beautiful good sized Indian sterling silver elephant. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1920-1940. It has been superbly designed being hollow cast from thick gauge silver so weighs 222g. It measures 4.25 inches (10.4cm) tall by 5 inches long. A beautifully made piece.
