A beautiful large impressive English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver snuff box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 with the maker being Joseph Gloster Ltd. It has been superbly made being engraved with a scroll design and the cartouche free from any engravings. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The hinge is smooth and tight, the inside is clean. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.8cm) long by over 1.75 inches (4.7cm) wide by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) tall and weighs 102 grams. A high quality example.
