A lovely cased English solid sterling silver birth or christening spoon. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1982 with the maker being Barker Ellis Silver Co. Details of the birth, time, weight etc... can be engraved on the bowl. It has been superbly made and is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 6 inches (15.4cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) and weighs 38 grams excluding the case. An interesting piece.
