A superb large heavy English antique solid sterling silver basting spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1908 with the maker being GJ over DF. It has been superbly designed and engraved with a greyhound crest used by the Chambers Family, the Martin Family, the Halford Family the Gribble Family and the Grevile Family. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures approx. 12.5 inches (31.8cm) long by 2.25 inches (5.8cm) wide and weighs 148 grams. A very high quality piece.
