A rare English sterling silver gilt compact. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1930 with the makers marks being that of W H Haseler Ltd . It has been beautifully designed being gilded with the lid depicting the Worshipful Company of Joiners & Ceilers crest. The inside still retains its original contents and mirror. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.6cm) across by 0.75 inches (2cm) tall and weighs 78 grams. A very well made rare piece.
