A rare English solid sterling silver limited edition bowl or porringer. It is hallmarked for London 1975 with the makers marks being JB for Jocelyn Burton. It has been made as a limited edition being number 512 of 900 made by order of the Dean and Chapter of St Paul's Cathedral to commemorate the300th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone in 1675. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It is nice and clean inside. It measures approx. 6.75 inches (17.4cms) across including the handle and 4.5 inches (11.7cms) excluding it by over 1.5 inches (3.5cms) tall to the rim and weighs 240 grams. A rare piece.
