A very good quality well made English Victorian solid sterling silver sauce or gravy / serving ladle. It is hallmarked for London 1889 with the makers mark being JA TS. It has been superbly made unusually having a hooked end and has been engraved with a Greyhound crest used by the Hunter Family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 7 inches (17.5cm) long by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) wide and weighs 64 grams. A high quality very interesting piece.
