A superbly detailed heavy high quality German Hanau cast solid sterling silver wax seal. It is hallmarked with Hanau marks along with the London import mark for 1905 along with the importer being Barr, Moering & Co. It has been superbly cast in the form of a gentleman with a sword. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) tall by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) across the base and weighs 54 grams. A high quality beautiful piece.
