A nice quality cased English solid sterling silver novelty letter opener. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1998 with the maker being LBLd. It has been superbly designed depicting a tennis racket. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.4cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) wide and weighs 20 grams excluding the case. A more unusual nice clean example.
