A rare large English solid sterling silver and enamel Royal bookmark. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1937 with the maker being Turner & Simpson Ltd. It has been made as a souvenir of the coronation of King George VI (after Edward VIII abdicated). It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 4.75 inches (12cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 22 grams. A superb example.
