A super quality heavy solid sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for London 1971 with the makers marks being PB. It has a superb hand made Mid Century Modern design having a very wide loop handle with textured finish. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 7.75 inches (19.3cms) long by over 2 inches (5.5cms) wide and weighs an impressive 70 grams. A very well made interesting piece.
