A rare English antique solid sterling silver spoon. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1917 with the maker being Joseph Rodgers & Sons. It has been superbly designed being in the form of flaming grenade possibly associated with the Royal Artillery or Fusiliers. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (10cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) wide and weighs 10 grams. A rare very well made piece.
