A beautiful Scottish solid sterling silver butter spreader. It is hallmarked for Glasgow 1946 with the maker being John D McAllister. It has been superbly designed with the terminal being pierced in the form of a stag. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, initialled to the handle. It measures approx. 4.75 inches (12cm) long by 0.5 inch (1.4cm) wide and weighs 14 grams. A beautifully made example.
