A super quality large English antique silver plated hip flask. It is marked on the base with the makers mark of James Dixon & Sons Ltd along with the bugle mark used from 1879. I would date this piece to c1920-1930. It has been superbly designed and is in superb condition being free from splits holes chips cracks and repairs. No wear to the plate. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) tall by over 4 inches (10.2cm) wide and weighs 252 grams. A superbly made piece.
