A beautiful Australian antique solid silver souvenir spoon. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly made with the terminal being in the form of a kangaroo and the bowl engraved MELBOURNE. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures over 4.75 inches (12.2cm) long by almost 1 inch (2.4cm) and weighs 10 grams. A superbly made piece.
