A beautiful sterling silver double sided agate snuff box. It is unmarked but tests as sterling silver most likely Scottish by its style. I would date it to c1850. It has been superbly designed having agate to both its lid and base. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, no chips or cracks to the agate. It measures over 2 inches (5.5cms) across by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) by 1 inch (2cms) tall and weighs 64 grams. A stunning example.
