A beautiful German solid silver trinket box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark and the 800 silver standard mark. I would date this piece to c1900. It has been beautifully designed having a scroll decoration and internal gilding. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean, the lid closes tightly. It measures over 2 inches (5.2cms) long by 1.5 inches (4cms) by 0.75 inch (1.7cms) tall and weighs 32 grams. A very high quality example.
