A beautiful German Hanau solid silver box. It is hallmarked with a German Hanau makers mark and I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a basket. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.6cm) across by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) wide by over 2.25 inches (6cm) tall and weighs 34 grams. A very pretty piece.
