A superb German solid silver Asparagus server. They have been hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the German 800 standard mark along with a makers mark. I would date it to c1920. It has been nicely designed and the terminal has been engraved with initials. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 9.5 inches (24cms) long by 3.25 inches (8.5cms) wide and weighs 152 grams. A beautifully made piece.
